I was told my part was in, took off work early. Sat at dealership for 45 minutes to be notified that they didn't have the part.

All issues/recalls were fixed or addressed. However, when making the appointment, the advisor confirmed that all work being done was still under factory warranty. When we picked the vehicle up we were told we were going to be charged labor for problems “not under warranty”, when the work was not approved prior to beginning it. They were willing to work with us on the cost, but it was still a shock to be charged when no one approved the work to be done.

Thanks to the mechanics who fixed the brake line, which had been chewed by rodents. When the alert signals showed on my dashboard, I returned to the service desk for advice. I was initially told that everything would be fine for a few days until they could schedule me into the shop. In spite of my concern and asking three separate times if it was safe for me to drive the car, I was told I would be fine. However, a few hours later, the car failed with alarming noises and would not go forward. It would not shift in to gear and sounded like it was falling apart. It had to be towed on a flatbed back to the dealer for repair. I feel fortunate that this did not happen in the middle of rush hour traffic. It would have been more prudent to keep my car in the shop when I initially went, realizing the potential for a dangerous event.

Everyone was so professional, even when they had to call me to tell me that the cabin filter was full of dog food. We all had a good laugh. I know they dreaded making that call.
